Evidence
Source hierarchy
- Current in-game evidence and reproducible release-build testing.
- Official Hound13 announcements, patch notes and Steam store information.
- Official trailers, livestreams and developer Q&A material.
- Credible community reports with visible evidence and version context.
- Unverified discussion, used only as a lead and never as the sole basis for a factual claim.
Workflow
Review and version labels
Claims are checked against the most relevant available source. Facts that can change after a patch include a visible review date or version baseline. Hands-on testing is labeled only when a named tester, platform, game version and reproducible steps are documented.
Tier grades, exact damage values, unlock conditions and hidden quest steps are withheld when the evidence is incomplete or conflicts across versions.
Tools
Automation may assist, but it does not become a source
Automation can assist with drafting, formatting and technical checks. Every factual game claim still requires source review. Generated details that cannot be tied to evidence are removed rather than published as plausible filler.
Corrections
How errors are handled
Substantive corrections update the affected page, its visible review date and the sitemap modification date. Minor spelling or layout changes do not receive a false freshness update.
Submit a correction
Send the page URL, the disputed sentence, current game version and a screenshot or primary-source link through the contact page.
Independence
Commercial relationships do not set conclusions
The homepage includes a clearly labeled third-party advertisement, and a Google AdSense publisher script is installed while the account is under review. Advertising revenue does not change guide rankings, recommendations, source selection or correction standards. Sponsored editorial placements are not accepted unless they are explicitly identified.
